Role of This Resource

Wise County Released Inmates is a private reference site. It is not connected to a sheriff, jail, corrections department, court, parole office, or public-records custodian. It keeps no official custody or court files. It cannot confirm whether a person is confined, arrange a release, alter a record, accept a filing, or give instructions on behalf of an agency.

The site organizes routes to Wise County and Virginia government resources, including SWVRJA, the Wise and Norton courts, VADOC, and relevant federal systems. Some pages also connect visitors with outside research tools. Those directions are provided for convenience and do not transfer government authority to this site.

Conditions of Acceptable Use

You must use the site in a lawful and responsible way. Access is conditioned on the following limits:

If One Term Fails

If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that part will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable. The remaining provisions will continue in full force.
